On today's show, I am interviewing Will Pearson, the co-founder and co-CEO of Ocean Bottle, a truly phenomenal entrepreneur who was named one of Forbes 30 Under 30, and one of Norway's top ten leaders under 30 for his work towards the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.
After completing an engineering degree, Will spent a year working at sea in the Indian Ocean, where he experienced firsthand the effects of pollution on the ocean. His belief is that everybody should have the right to a clean environment and that business has a fundamental role to play in solving the challenges it has created. With experience in environmental impact and business strategy, Will has nurtured an obsession to create products and services that give more to the world and environment than they take from it. This led to the development of Ocean Bottle in 2018, a social impact brand with a mission to prevent 7 billion plastic bottles.
In this episode, I spoke to Will about the highs and lows of creating a company and how his relationship with his mental health has changed over the years.
