Many men endure ongoing urinary leakage despite their efforts to use conservative measures. It can be distressing, and some men suffer in silence, without telling anyone about their symptoms because they find them embarrassing. They may even believe that they need to accept this as their new normal. The good news is that there is hope for these men. Stay tuned to find out more!
Today, we're excited to have Dr. Brian Flynn joining us to discuss the available options for men to obtain relief from these distressing symptoms. Dr. Flynn is a good friend, and the former mentor of Dr. Garrett Pohlman, who was fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from him during his urology residency training at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Flynn is a very talented surgeon and his philosophy is to treat all patients to the best of his ability, as they would want to be treated. He individualizes the treatment of each patient based on their specific needs and desires.
Dr. Flynn is a national leader in the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of urinary incontinence. His training included a fellowship in reconstructive urology at Duke University. He has been a faculty member of the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine since 2002, and he has presented at many national and international meetings on urethral stricture disease, urinary incontinence in men and women, urethral stricture, and robotics. Be sure to tune in today, to find out about the spectrum of treatment options for men with urinary incontinence.
