Kit and I discuss the role that debt plays in a ranch business. It certainly can have a place to help a business when used wisely. However, Kit believes, and I agree, that it's not a necessity and that freeing yourself from debt can lead to a more enjoyable business with more peace of mind. He talks about what he thinks may be acceptable uses of debt, and what is never ok to borrow to own.
