In this video we chat with the 2023 HYROX World Champion, Lauren Weeks. This was recorded just a few days after the World Championships in Manchester where, on the Friday night, Lauren won the Elite 15 race in a time of 59:51, making her only the second woman ever to break the 60 minute mark, and managing to do it on the grid format, on a 4 lap course (both of which traditionally make your race much slower). And what’s more she’s done it all just 10 months after having a baby! It was a great chat, we talk about her training, her tactics for the race, her recovery from giving birth, the changes she’s made to her running training in recent weeks, her mindset during the race and much more.
