This week in CEO School, Suneera is joined by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Joann Lublin to discuss the influences of trailblazing women in the business world, as well as their thoughts on the importance of female entrepreneurs having access to business knowledge and the presence of women making more money. She described situations that were seen as powerful statements about women not being pushed around and being heard and seen and getting known to the public eye. The conversation inspires women to be pioneers in men-dominated fields to open doors to fellow women. Having access to business knowledge and the presence of more women making money will create a more equitable business world. Joann is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and speech and leadership speaker; she launched the Wall Street Journal’s first career column and remained a regular contributor. She’s the author of two books about female business leaders. The first is Earning It: Hard Won Lessons from Trailblazing Women at the Top of the Business World, and the second one, which we’ll talk about today, is called Power Moms: How Executive Mothers Navigate Work and Life. Working Mother Medium ranked Power Moms as one of the best 21 books for working moms in 2021. She also won a 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Loeb awards, the highest accolade in business journalism. In this episode:
