It requires a lot of courage to take off the veil of being an even-keeled, conventionally pretty, and agreeable woman. I’ve been reflecting on what my life looked like when I was a people-pleaser and ferociously hid parts of my spiritual and sexual self. I was so enmeshed in patriarchal programming and feared the chaos that lived inside me. All of that changed when I discovered my embodiment practice.
