235: Wherever Kids are Online, So Are Predators. A Necessary Conversation on Child Safety and Exploitation, with Child Rescue Coalition Founder, Carly Yoost
This week I'm sitting down with the founder of Child Rescue Coalition, Carly Yoost, talking all about how to keep your kids safe online.
Listen guys, this is a big, heavy topic, and it is hard to talk about. But you will be shocked--or not--to hear that predators are targeting children just about everywhere there is an internet connection--from social media, to gaming platforms, and more.
The technology her group has developed has so far helped law enforcement to rescue over 3,300 children from sexual exploitation and abuse, and has resulted in the arrest of over 14,300 predators, often including those in positions of trust.
