Today, I'm talking to business coach, Rick Mulready, about how to have success as an online entrepreneur or blogger. Rick says you need to start where you want to go and work backwards. For Rick, this was to make $1 million. If you know that the riches are in the niches, it's important to focus on creating specific content (blog posts, social media posts, a podcast, etc.) that attracts your ideal customers to you.

Other strategies Rick recommends:

• Test your ideas regularly to make sure what you are offering is what your audience wants
• Interview your past clients to get their feedback and insights
• It's not enough to just have a great product or service; you also need to have the right mindset and be able to deal with failure productively
