25. Why You Should Be Lifting Heavy Weight Postpartum

In today's episode, we're talking about why lifting heavy weight is the secret to a better postpartum recovery. This might be a little controversial, but hear me out! And I would love to hear your take on this after you listen.

I'm not saying that you should jump right back in early postpartum and start lifting heavy weights right away. But I do want to encourage you to work towards lifting heavier weights, and that's what I'm explaining today.

You'll hear about the importance of progressively overloading your muscles, the benefits of lifting heavy to your body (when you do it the right way), why you need to stabilize your core first, and a walkthrough of suggested recovery phases postpartum. I'm also sharing a couple of supplements that can be really helpful for improving your ability to build muscle.
