1. New Thoughts must be believable: Your new thoughts must feel real, not like wishful thinking. Check how these thoughts make you feel inside. If they don't sit right, they might not be the right thoughts for you.
2. Start Small: Begin changing your thoughts with phrases like "I often think that…" followed by "But it could be true…" or "I’m starting/learning to…" These help open your mind to new possibilities without overwhelming you.
3. Build on Thought Stepping Stones: Challenge negative thoughts by questioning their truth. Ask yourself what's really true and what facts everyone would agree on. Then, practice thinking in new ways that reflect these truths.
