Many men may remember when their father or another family member had to undergo the “Roto-Rooter” procedure for an enlarged prostate. In this episode, you will learn more about the TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate) procedure that has long been a mainstay in the treatment of an enlarged prostate. You will also learn about the evolution of the technology used for the TURP procedure and about the men who might still be a candidate for that particular therapy.
We have Dr. Jon Morton joining us today. Dr. Morton is a board-certified urologist and an expert when it comes to the management of an enlarged prostate. Stay tuned for more!
