Parental preference at bedtime is VERY common among toddlers and preschoolers. I hear from families on a daily basis when their toddler prefers one parent (at bedtime).

If you have a toddler, chances are you’ve experienced this before. 

Whether it’s getting dressed, getting dropped off at school, or just being pushed on the swing. Kids can be very persistent when it comes to their parental preference. 😑

Your child’s parental preference can show up with lots of activities, like going potty or holding hands to walk down the street, but BEDTIME tends to be one of the most difficult to navigate. 

Dealing with strong parental preference at bedtime can really put a real strain on families.
