Dr. Slaff is a highly decorated and accomplished MD, author and educator as well as a damn fine runner in her own right, landing on the age group podium at the USATF 50k Road Championships earlier this year. Albert is a lawyer by day and also dabbles in the marathons and ultras which tells me that it's okay to have a really good job and still make terrible life decisions.
