On this episode, Linda and Dana talk to tech businesswoman turned Realtor Sarita Dua about how her unique approach to real estate has paid off.  Sarita completed her undergrad in electrical engineering, went on to get an MBA, and spent the first part of her career in tech.  She loved everything about that fast paced environment, but after having kids she realized she would love a job where she had more control over her schedule.  Since both she and her husband traveled for both of their jobs, keeping up with two travel schedules with a 2 and 4 year old just wasn't working anymore.  In considering real estate, Sarita drafted a business plan before she started interviewing brokerages asking them why she should choose them to work with.  Most importantly in her business plan was her desire to set the amount of days off she would have instead of just focusing on a production goal.  After starting at a boutique brokerage, she eventually transferred to Keller Williams and now runs a team that averages 100-140 homes a year at a 62% profit margin with 3 buyers agents, a listing manager and a transaction coordinator.  She shares how her unique approach to her team helps her sell at the level she wants while still having time off throughout the year.
