Hey girl,
In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Kemi, double board-certified gynecologic oncologist and author of A Terrible Strength: The Hidden Crisis of the Black Womb and Your Survival Guide to Healing, to talk about something we don't discuss nearly enough: Black women's womb health.
We cover how to document your symptoms, navigate medical bias, bust the biggest myths around birth control and fertility, and understand what a truly heavy period looks like because a lot of us have normalized the abnormal. This one is important. Get the book, share it with someone you love.
