This week I am excited to welcome my first "fireside chat" with a red light therapy enthusiast! Calling in from Western Australia, Ros Maindok, first got illuminated by red light therapy back in 2010 when she took a course that was designed specifically for horses. This is back in the day when it was literally just red light and did not encompass the near-infrared light we are accustomed to with today's red light therapy devices. She began with a red light therapy torch and learned how to treat acupoints on horses, getting impressive results quickly. From there she was hooked on the healing capabilities of this simple, yet profound technology.

 

Of course, over time Ros's experiences and knowledge grew into treating other animals/pets and herself and her family. Similar to her results with horses, she realized some amazing results with her family, especially her husband. Ros highlights some fun anecdotes, which provides some great insight into "real life" results people are getting with red light therapy.

 

We also speak about how we see red light therapy expanding in the future and (hopefully) where it can get with more mainstream adoption. Like me, Ros is very impassioned and excited to share and spread her red light therapy knowledge; and with over a decade of experience, she comes from a place of know-how versus just reading a book or the research.
