Allison Mercer had a huge 2023 finishing 2nd OVERALL at the Strolling Jim 40-miler in May earning her 2nd golden tee shirt (1st woman to do so). Then setting a PR at the Berlin Marathon of 2:49 in Sept. Then 6 weeks later taking 7th OVERALL & 2nd place female at the Tunnel Hill 50-miler. While in the process setting a new Master's American 50-mile record of 5:57:12! We talk about her training, recovery, strategy, & mindset for this amazing year. So much to unpack in this episode!
