Attorneys for an unnamed woman have released a statement maintaining their client was sexually harassed and assaulted by California Democrat, Representative Jimmy Gomez. Earlier in the week, we told you about a House Ethics Committee investigation into alleged inappropriate sexual conduct by Gomez, and when the Congressman released a statement reacting to the investigation, he acknowledged he made “mistakes” in his marriage, but insisted they were were consensual and not in violation of House Ethics rules.  The accuser’s attorneys made it very clear in their statement, this was NOT a consensual situation.

We just returned from Montreal, the scene of what some are calling the latest cringe social media post from lovebirds Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau. The two are dancing in a Montreal Hardware store to Justin’s son’s song playing on the radio, but plenty of people have been taking some mean shots at them, one tv presenter calling them the most annoying couple in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, we talk about one of the most adorable couples in the word: Zendaya and Tom Holland, who have taken quite the opposite approach to managing their relationship in the spotlight. It was a surprisingly short day in court, but it was a powerful one for the defense. Dr. Paul Zeizel told jurors that Lindsay Clancy was suffering from postpartum psychosis and that she had no appreciation for the wrongfulness of her act. Also, the judge in the case ruled a TikToker could not be called as a witness in the case and then abruptly and mysteriously ended court early, saying there was an “unforeseen circumstance” that they “did not see coming.”

Ok, some of you may be thinking, what’s an extra half mile when you already ran 26.2…. we’re here to tell you it’s HUGE. After thousands of runners complained their GPS didn’t match with the official race distance, officials pushed back for days, but ultimately re-traced the route and admitted their mistake. The big question now, how will race organizers adjust run times to make it right?

It was a fascinating day in court as day two of testimony continued in the murder trial against Duane Davis, the former gang leader who prosecutors say orchestrated the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur 30 years ago. Another rival gang member took the stand and declared himself a hostile witness, refusing, hilariously at times, to say anything incriminating against Davis. Meantime, the medical examiner showed jurors and the courtroom never before seen autopsy photos of Shakur, prompting several family members to leave the courtroom.
