But she made so, so many mistakes that helped her learn how to really lead people by connecting to and caring about them. Kristen’s book is titled Permission To Screw Up: How I Learned to Lead by Doing (Almost) Everything Wrong. It’s a wonderful book, which is why Simon Sinek wrote the forward. In this show Kristen and I discuss what authentic leadership is and can be. And we get into talking about not only the value of trying and failing, but the necessity if you are doing anything worthwhile.
