Erica Jago is a yoga teacher and graphic designer. She is fearless in her love for yoga and passionate about communication design. Through her signature illustrations of yoga poses, called Asanaglyphs, she found a union between the two. With over 18 years of experience in designing books, she self-published her first book, Art of Attention, ranked #1 on Amazon for design, now translated into six languages, and graphically designed Oprah Winfrey’s The Wisdom of Sundays.    After the making of Art of Attention, chakra studies helped her heal an addiction she had been battling for 25 years. Since then, 
she started helping others embrace their beauty to impact those they love. For the pasts ten years, Erica gathered over 300 women and men from more than 42 countries for week-long retreats to study one chakra at a time.   In these retreats, Erica uses her background as a kundalini and vinyasa trained teacher, as well as her experience as a designer to introduce a new methodology—combining storytelling with emotionally connected yoga, visionary art, and nature—to inspire inner knowing, spiritual care and interconnectedness.   For Angelus, her second book, Erica developed 21 yoga sequences, all illustrated with Asanaglyphs. Not only is she the spiritual mastermind behind the book; she also designed the book graphically.    In This Episode We Talk About:

Rachel grew up in Morrison, Colorado. She came across the world of healing after years of struggling with her personal health. Determined to heal, Rachel began studying holistic health and nutrition which opened a pathway of exploration. She followed a calling to Guatemala where she thought she was going to pursue herbalism, only to find she had a deep connection to the sacred Mayan calendar and the subtle medicine of cacao. Taken aback by the familiarity in what she was learning in Guatemala, it became clear that her healing path had led her to deepen her spirituality. When Rachel returned back to Colorado she was able to access another level of health and understanding that was unknown in the past. She has pursued working with the energies in the calendar system, ceremonial cacao, and together has created a devoted practice.

Currently, Rachel lives in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with her husband, baby boy and dog Wrigley. She holds workshops throughout Colorado, focusing on the creation of sacred, safe space. Rachel leads cacao ceremonies, and a variety of workshops, all made up of radiant moments.

In January 2016, Florencia visited Lake Atitlan, Guatemala to study metaphysical practices. There, she was introduced to cacao during a ceremony led by a Mayan day-keeper, a guardian of Mayan wisdom. Florencia had a powerful and life-changing moment. She knew that she was the bridge between the Mayan elders and modern New Yorkers; and eventually the world.    With the guidance of Nana Marina Cruz, a Mayan wisdom keeper from the T'zutujil community in Guatemala, Florencia began her journey with cacao.    Florencia and her brother, Frederico, launched Cacao Laboratory with the intentions of community, connection, sustaining Mother Earth, and giving back to the farmers in South America.   In This Episode We Talk About:
