Part of healing from your divorce is learning to actively listen to your body's wisdom. In this episode you'll learn exactly how to listen to your body and learn it's unique language. You will discover how embracing your body's language will be a catalyst for personal growth, wisdom and reconnection after years of neglect.
I'll guide you through grounding exercise where you will fine tune how to listen to your body and begin to see patterns of speaking to you through vibrations, sensations, tension, temperature and more. These practices will help you decode your body's language and build a stronger connection with your physical self. By keeping a log of these observations, you'll deepen your emotional resilience and start a new chapter of independence and well-being. This episode is your invitation to embrace your body's wisdom and embark on a journey of self-reconnection and healing after divorce.

This episode is all about mindset and thought work - specifically the impact intentionally choosing your thoughts will have on you and your emotional life right now and moving forward after divorce.
Did you know that the thoughts in your brain are not just truths being handed to you? Your brain gathers thoughts, ideas and beliefs in two main ways; through your life experiences, teachings, socialization, senses, etc and through your cognitive bias. Knowing this can open you up to the idea that thoughts aren't necessarily truth. This is great news. Once we know our thoughts are up for questioning and consideration, we give ourselves permission to decide on purpose what we want to think and believe that is in line with moving us toward what feels good and right for us.

When you're feeling so overwhelmed by your divorce - you can't see any hope in sight - just remember that spring is on its way. When things are really hard we can beat ourselves up thinking that we need to know the end game; that we need to see the next steps play out; we need to know how it's all going to work out. When things are hard it feels like winter - cold, hard, and dark and like it will last forever.
But what you can practice remembering is that you don't need to know how it's all going to work out or when or what the solution is. When things are hard all you need to remember is spring is on its way. Spring always comes. Just hold on a bit longer and things will get better.

Have you ever had a thought like this cross your mind..."Good mothers don't yell at their kids." "Good mothers don't have kids who get bad grades." "Good mothers aren't divorce." "Good mothers aren't away from their kids 50% of the time." "Good mothers are there to tuck in their kids at night." "Good mothers don't make mistakes."
If you answered yet, then this episode is a must listen. This episode peels back the layers of societal expectations and the self-judgment that burdens mothers, especially when parenting alone. I'm going to teach you how to embrace your imperfections and redefine what it means to be a good mother; accepting your authenticity, giving yourself compassion, and knowing that perfection is unattainable.
You'll be challenged with new thoughts and ideas about what it means to be a good mother - even a great one - and how to adopt those new thoughts into your own life to create deeper connection with yourself and with your kids and other relationships moving forward.

There is an enemy to grief is judgement; judgement of yourself, where you are at on your grief journey and what your unique grief journey looks like. If you've been feeling like you 'should be over him by now' or 'it's been long enough - just get over it', then you may have some unacknowledged judgement of yourself and what you're feeling. This judgement can keep you stuck and unable to process through the grief you need to allow so you can heal.
Listen in as I discuss why judgement is the enemy of grief and what you can do to drop the judgement, opening yourself up to allowing grief in all it's forms.
