Healing is a process. And sometimes it is a long, arduous process that has many complicated, deeply-rooted layers. Often, true healing involves working on all parts of the person, the physical, the emotional and the spiritual, and it can get messy!
Today, we get to chat with Dr. Rob Reimer and he takes us into his pastoral history of helping people heal. It led him to write one of his books, Soul Care, and we get to touch on the seven principles he outlines in the book.
So, what is Soul Care?
"It’s a process of getting “unstuck” by cleaning out old hurts, sins, bitterness and secrets to make room for joy, peace, freedom and fullness" (taken from Dr. Reimer's website, Renewal International).
This is the first of a two-part podcast with Dr. Reimer, so join me today as we begin to unpack what it takes to take care of our soul.

The mind and the body work together and when they are in sync we tend to be in a healthy state. But what happens when we are plagued by chronic stress and past traumas?
A few short years ago, Raj Jana found himself in such a situation, needing to put his whole body back in sync, but there was a problem. Our health care system wasn't set up to help people do that effectively.
Fast forward to today and Raj now is the co-founder and CEO of Liber8, a human transformation company specializing in Precision Emotional Healing (PEH). Liber8's goal is to empower people to take control of their mental and emotional well-being through PEH and put their mind and body back in sync.

Note from Jess:
Carbonated vs Non-Carbonated Water and Hydration Status.
There are currently no studies showing both intracellular and extracellular hydration status when comparing carbonated vs non carbonated water. Intracellular hydration is more important to mitochondrial function than external. Because of this, currently it is widely accepted that both are equally hydrating. However, since we practice ancestral nutrition, we know that humans didn’t add carbonation = carbonic acid a weak acid, to water until about 100 years ago. It also REALLY depends on the sparkling water/carbonated water source. In general, plain mineral waters in glass are excellent. Those with any artificial or natural flavors, sugars, etc should be avoided. All that said, many people do not have access to drinking water AT ALL so something is better than nothing!!!!
