How much of your life is created by what you believe or more importantly, by what you don't believe?
Disbelief can seep into our lives with thoughts like:
How many thoughts do you have that are like this?
Where do you hold on to the disbelief that you can live the life you desire?
In this episode we'll explore the possibilities that exist when you allow yourself to suspend disbelief.

How many times have you heard yourself say, "I'm fine." When you were anything but fine?
Why is it so hard to stay with our emotions and be honest with ourselves about where we're at and what we're going through?
In my experience, a big factor in staying "fine" is the fear of change.
If you admit that something isn't right, does that mean you have to change it?
How much do you have to change?
Who's going to hold you accountable to change?
These and so many similar questions can keep you suppressing your true emotions and staying in familiar discomfort.
But there is a place between "I'm fine" and change.
In this episode, I'll talk about that space and why it's important to hold that space for yourself without the pressure of thinking you have to change now.

Have you ever found yourself wishing that someone just knew what you needed?
Have you heard yourself say that someone else's words upset you?
These are common thoughts, but they don't help you in any way. These types of thoughts create space rather than connection with the person you're engaging with.
They also put up a smoke screen to the thoughts you have behind them.
It's easier to have someone just show up and give you what you need because it spares you from figuring it out and learning how to communicate your needs.
It's easier to say someone's words upset you than it is to figure out what you make those words mean, why, and how to communicate that.
In this episode we'll talk about how these thoughts and others like them keep barriers in our lives and how finding and using our voice can break those barriers down.

How many times have you been through a painful experience in your life and found your way through it?
Sometimes we process things in a healthy way, and sometimes we press on stuff emotions, and just get through it.
So why do people say they're broken?
What does being broken even mean?
In this episode, I'll talk about what's underneath the idea that we can be broken and how there can be two sides to that idea.
No matter which side you find yourself on, know that you are not broken and that there are times in life that are just deeply painful.
But even those times can lead to tremendous growth.

What are your thoughts about mindfulness?
Sound like a hippie buzz word?
What if I told you that mindfulness is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle?
Wait… does that mean you get to avoid food programs and exercise?
Well, no.
But, when you begin practicing mindfulness, you become more aware of the signals your body sends to you around food, sleep, exercise, and stress.
You also become more aware of your thoughts about these aspects of your life, and once that happens, you're faced with a decision…own your behavior choices or try to lie to yourself.
The later choice rarely works out well because you always know when you're lying to yourself.
In this two-part episode I'll tell you more about what the practice of mindfulness is. Meaning you don't have to run off to India and stay in an ashram for a month to figure it out.
You also don't need to spend 30 minutes a day in meditation to live more mindfully.
I'll offer you simple ways to incorporate more mindfulness (aka awareness) into your life and I'll explain why that's so important to a healthy lifestyle.
In part two I give you a mindfulness meditation practice to get you set up for success in just 15 minutes.

What comes to mind when you think about living a year without trying?
Does it sound like giving up, or does it sound like deciding to go all in or step out?
The important thing missing from "trying" something that's important to you is commitment.
The smallest shift in language can create a big shift in energy and the life you decide to create.
In this episode, I'll tell you how "trying" and two other thought errors can be major roadblocks to becoming the person you want to be and to living the life you want to live.

You know the feeling…you're tired, maybe dealing with a cold, a long week, too many appointments, needs, demands and you can feel it inside of you, you're so over it.
You've known for a while that things need to dial back and slow down.
You can feel you've been suppressing emotions but know there's no holding back. It's here, it's real, you're done.
What if you let that be OK?
In this episode, I'll tell you how it could help you to take better care of yourself if you allow yourself to get over it, instead of OK with it.
You'll hear about what happens when you give yourself space to be over cancer, over treatments, appointments, scans, and obligations.
At the end of the day, you get to decide what works in your life and how.
But sometimes you have to get over it to see it.

Think back to when you were diagnosed with breast cancer. Did a story come to mind of what that meant and what your life would look like as a result of it?
What about your thoughts on turning 40, 50, or starting a business, or traveling to an exotic location? All of those stories create boxes that we easily get stuck in.
We find ourselves living our lives and managing our healing by our collection of other people's thoughts on what life experiences should look like.
But, what if you didn't?
What would be different if you threw out all the boxes created by you and everyone who's given you a box throughout your life?
Scary to think about? I know.
In this episode, I'll tell you about the importance of doing things your way when it comes to making life choices and why it's never too late to start doing things for the first time.

Do you find it hard to believe you have the power to support your ability to heal? Sometimes people tell me they feel like they're in denial if they try to adopt this mindset.
Other times I hear that you don't need to focus on healing if you don't have cancer anymore. In this episode, I'll give you my take on both of these points.
I'll help you understand why choosing to believe in yourself is far from being in denial and how your body, mind, and heart are nearly always working to heal from something.
Your role isn't to make healing happen, but to be to support its ability to happen.
This episode will empower you to create a new loving, healthy relationship with your body, mind, and heart.
