Everyone thinks they are a GREAT communicator, but most people aren't. I have to REALLY try to be an effective communicator, and things seem to crumble when I am not trying hard. In this episode, I give two frameworks for effective communication. The first is how to communicate with your customers effectively. The second is how to communicate with your team effectively.
If we don't learn to say no, we will become the worst versions of ourselves. Listen to this episode to learn how I say 'NO' when something new comes along.
I just got done looking at enough data to make my eyes bleed. What did I find? Well, I found an incredibly simple way to increase the likelihood someone becomes a customer. In this episode, I tell you how to do it in your business.
Does being an entrepreneur suck?
Entrepreneurship, when pursued correctly, will apply pressure and discomfort to every part of who you are.
You'll either survive it and become the best version of yourself imaginable.
Or, you won't.
The two most significant impacts on my life have been fitness and entrepreneurship.
Fitness taught me self-discipline, which is instrumental to any success.
Entrepreneurship taught me self-mastery, which was life-changing.
The entrepreneurship journey is long, and it is hard.
So come back to this podcast when you are struggling.
What is your time worth?
Think about it.
What would you say an hour of your time is worth?
$100…?
$1,000…?
$10,000..?
I hate to be the first to break it to you, but your time is worth nothing.
That's why book recommendations can fall flat at times. For example, a seasoned entrepreneur making a lot of money may recommend a more philosophical book about the impact of a business on the world.
If you're new to entrepreneurship, you'll read that book and think it was a waste of time because it didn't tell you how to acquire more customers.
Today, I'd like to give you 11 book recommendations and a framework for working through them.
Today, I want to talk about scaling a business.
I started with a laptop, a $5 product, $100K+ in debt, and ZERO knowledge of how to run a business.
Today, across multiple companies, we have 20 employees and do millions per year, and I am debt free.
So how does that happen?
