This is the inaugural book for our Virtual Book Club and we picked it because it speaks directly to midlife women.  Ms. Calhoun spoke to a variety of Generation X women who expressed similar stresses with money, relationships, family and work.  She cites research which shows that there are unique circumstances for midlife women.  We are a generation of women who were told we could be anything but then we were expected to juggle everything.
