Hello Everyone! And welcome back. 

Today we are talking about the difficulty that I had with receiving my diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. And how I believe that my inability to be honest with myself, my friends and family, and my medical team contributed to how long I suffered from undiagnosed BPD. This disorder carries enough shame, to begin with, I do not want anyone to feel shame about hiding their inner world or maladaptive coping mechanisms - I did it too. I am only expressing how once I was able to be honest with myself and people around me I was able to get help and start recovering.

Today I introduce you to me, very briefly. And we talk at a very high level about my journey to being diagnosed with BPD and adult ADHD. I am going to take future episodes to go into more detail about my specific sub-type of BPD ( and talk about all of the sub-types), as well as indicators/factors that are used when making a BPD diagnosis. But today - we are just going into a very brief history.
