Welcome back to Association for Mineral Exploration BC and the Roundup Conference 2024! We're back with this year's event as the official podcast where we will be providing recaps of conversations and important themes of the event.

Today was Day 1 and it was a big one. The Provence of British Columbia published their Phase I Critical Minerals Strategy. We have Minister Josie Osborne, the Minister for Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation in British Columbia to discuss the strategy and what happens after this publication.

We then welcome in a mining legend. Dr. Robert Quartermian gave today's AME Lunch Keynote. He is also the Co-Chair of Dakota Gold Corp and Member of the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame. We talk about the important aspects of his career and his focus happening right now.
