Why Women Cry

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?"

"Because I am a woman" she said.

"I don't understand," he said.

His mother just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," his dad answered carelessly.

The little boy, still wondering why women cry, finally asked the old wise scholar. "He surely knows the answer", he thought.

" Why do women cry so easily?" he asked.

The scholar answered:

"When God made the woman she had to be special. He made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

He gave an inner strength to endure both childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

He gave her a toughness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

He gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child hurts her badly.

He gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart. He gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And lastly, He gave her a tear. This is hers and only hers exclusively to use whenever she needs it. She needs no reason and no explanation, its hers.

You see ,my son, the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."

女人为什么流泪？

你为什么哭呢？ 一个小男孩问她的妈妈。”因为我是个女人。“她告诉他。”但是我不明白。“小男孩说。他妈妈只是抱住他说：”你永远不会明白，不过没关系。“??过了一会，小男孩问爸爸：”为什么妈妈总是无缘无故哭呢？“他爸爸只能回答：”所有女人都会无缘无故哭。“??小男孩长大成人，可是他还是疑惑：女人为什么哭？最后，他打了个电话给上帝：”上帝，为何女人这么容易流泪呢？“?上帝回答：??“我在创造女人的时候，我决定要把她创造得特别一点。我赋予她强壮的肩膀使她能肩负起整个世界的重担，但是同时，我又让她的臂弯温柔舒适。我赋予她坚强的内心，来承受分娩的痛苦以及拒绝，而这拒绝多数来自自己的孩子。我赋予她耐心，使她在所有人都放弃的时候仍然能够毫无怨言地坚持照顾她的家人和朋友，使他们度过疾病和疲劳的难关。我赋予她任何情况下都爱孩子的包容心，即使她的孩子伤了她的心。她有特殊的力量使小孩子的擦伤不再疼痛，来抚平少年的忧虑和害怕。我赋予她包容丈夫过错的坚强，我用他肋骨创造了她来保护他的心。我赋予她智慧，让她明白好丈夫不会伤害他的妻子。但是有时候也会考验她支持丈夫的决心和毅力。最后，我还赋予她泪水，只要她想哭就可以流泪，这是她独有的，也是她唯一的弱点。当你看见她哭，就告诉她你多么爱她，还有她为所有人所做的一切。虽然她仍然还会哭，但是你这样做能温暖她的心。她是特别的！

Where is Happiness

We can find happiness today if we only look. Happiness is in our hearts and asks only to be celebrated and valued. It comes from within. If we filled our mind with pleasant thoughts and try to look on the bright side ,we invite happiness.

No amount of money, possessions, or ego gratification can bring us happiness. There is no such thing as the perfect car, house, job, or person to make us happy. Peace of mind comes with the recognition that happiness is the state of mind we choose. Being happy today enables us to be happy forever. Today, is what counts.

Our fear try to prevent us from feeling joy and pleasure. The fearful part of us would like us to be in a constant state of watching over our shoulder and of doubting the future. Imagine going to be fitted for new glasses. Your sight will be improved. You will see things more clearly. Consider adjusting your mind in a similar way. As unproductive, unhelpful thoughts creep into your consciousness, replace them with better-fitting thoughts that focus on joy and pleasure.

Relationship That Lasts

If somebody tells you, " I'll love you for ever," will you believe it?

I don't think there's any reason not to. we are ready to believe such commitment at the moment, whatever change may happen afterwards. As for the belief in an everlasting love, that's another thing.

Then you may be asked whether there is such a thing as an everlasting love. I'd answer i believe in it. But an everlasting love is not immutable.

You may unswervingly love or be loved by a person. But love will change its composition with the passage of time. It will not remain the same. In the course of your growth and as a result of your increased experience, love will become something different to you.

In the beginning you believed a fervent love for a person could last indefinitely. By and by, however," fervent" gave way to " prosaic" . Precisely because of this change it became possible for love to last. Then what was meant by an everlasting love would eventually end up in a sort of interdependence.

We used to insist on the difference between love and liking. The former seemed much more beautiful than the latter. one day, however, it turns out there's really no need to make such difference. Liking is actually a sort of love. By the same token, the everlasting interdependence is actually an everlasting love.

I wish i could believe there was somebody who would love me forever. That's, as we all know, too romantic to be true. Instead, it will more often than not be a case of lasting relationship.

永久的爱

假如有人对你说，我永远爱你，你是否会相信呢?

我想不到有什么理由不相信。无论将来变成怎样，那一刻，我们会愿意相信这个承诺。是否相信有永远的爱，那又是另一回事。

你也许永远爱一个人，或永远被一个人所爱。但是，爱的成分会在年月中改变。爱不是只有一样。当你成长，当你经历愈来愈多的事情，你对爱的体会也会不一样了。

从前所相信的永远，是永远炽热地爱一个人。后来的永远，也许是从炽热走到平淡。因为平淡，才可以更长久。然后，所谓永远，有一天又会变成互相依存。

我们曾经坚持把爱和喜欢分开。爱是比喜欢美丽许多的。终有一天，我们开始相信，不必把喜欢和爱分开。喜欢也是一种爱。正如，永远的依存，也是永远的爱。

我希望我能够相信一个人永远地爱我。可是，我们都知道，那只是过于浪漫的想法。永远的关系，反而更有可能.

Relish the Moment

Tucked away in our subconsciousness is an idyllic vision. We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent. We are traveling by train. Out the windows, we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving on a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hillsides, of city skylines and village halls.

But the uppermost in our minds is the final destination. On a certain day at a certain hour, we will pull into the station. Bands will be playing and flags waving. Once we reach there, so many wonderful dreams will come true and the pieces of our lives will be fit together like a completed jigsaw puzzle. How restlessly we pace the aisles, damning the minutes loitering, waiting, waiting, waiting for the station.

"When we reach the station, that will be it", we cry. "When I'm 18", "When I buy a new 450SL Mercedes Benz", "When I put my last kid through college", "When I have paid off the mortgage", "When I get a promotion", "When I reach the age of the retirement, I shall live happily ever after."

Sooner or later, we must realize that there is no station, no one place to arrive at once and for all. The true joy of life is the trip. The station is only a dream. It constantly outdistances us.

It isn't the burdens of today that drive men mad. It is the regrets over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow. Regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today.

So stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. Instead, climb more mountains, eat more ice creams, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more and cry less. Life must be lived as we go along. Then the station will come soon enough.

我们的潜意识里藏着一派田园诗般的风光!我们仿佛身处一次横贯大陆的漫漫旅程之中!乘着火车,我们领略着窗外流动的景色：附近高速公路上奔驰的汽车、十字路口处招手的孩童、远山上吃草的牛群、源源不断地从电厂排放出的烟尘、一片片的玉米和小麦、平原与山谷、群山与绵延的丘陵、天空映衬下城市的轮廓,以及乡间的庄园宅第!

然而我们心里想得最多的却是最终的目的地!在某一天的某一时刻,我们将会抵达进站!迎接我们的将是乐队和飘舞的彩旗!一旦到了那儿,多少美梦将成为现实,我们的生活也将变得完整,如同一块理好了的拼图!可是我们现在在过道里不耐烦地踱来踱去,咒骂火车的拖拖拉拉!我们期待着,期待着,期待着火车进站的那一刻!

"当我们到站的时候,一切就都好了!"我们呼喊着!"当我18岁的时候!""当我有了一辆新450SL奔驰的时候!""当我供最小的孩子念完大学的时候!""当我偿清贷款的时候!""当我官升高任的时候!""当我到了退休的时候,就可以从此过上幸福的生活啦!"

可是我们终究会认识到人生的旅途中并没有车站,也没有能够"一到永逸"的地方!生活的真正乐趣在于旅行的过程,而车站不过是个梦,它始终遥遥领先于我们!

真正令人发疯的不是今日的负担,而是对昨日的悔恨及对明日的恐惧!悔恨与恐惧是一对孪生窃贼,将今天从你我身边偷走!

那么就不要在过道里徘徊吧,别老惦记着你离车站还有多远!何不换一种活法,将更多的高山攀爬,多吃点儿冰淇淋甜甜嘴巴,经常光着脚板儿溜达,在更多的河流里畅游,多看看夕阳西下,多点欢笑哈哈,少让泪水滴答!生活得一边过一边瞧!车站就会很快到达!

to read a short English poem for you and hope you all like it.

Song of Wisdom

I have reached illusion's end

In this grove of falling leaves ,

Each leaf a signal of past joy ,

Drifting sere within my heart.

Some were loves of youthful days

Blazing meteors in a distant sky ,

Extinguished , vanished without trace ,

Or dropped before me , stiff and cold as ice .

Some were boisterous friendships ,

Full blown blossoms , innocent of coming fall .

Society dammed the pulsing blood ,

Life cast molten passion in reality's shell .

Another joy , the spell of high ideals ,

Drew me through many a twisting mile of thorn .

To suffer for ideals is no pain ;

But oh ,to see them mocked and scorned !

Now nothing remains but remorse?

Daily punishment for past pride .

When the glory of the sky stands condemned,

In this wasteland, what color survive ?

There is one tree that stands alone intact ,

It thrives , I know , on my suffering's lifeblood .

Its greenshade mocks me ruthlessly !

O wisdom tree ! I curse your every growing bud! .

我已走到了幻想底尽头，

这是一片落叶飘零的树林，

每一片叶子标记着一种欢喜，

现在都枯黄地堆积在内心。

有一种欢喜是青春的爱情，

那是遥远天边的灿烂的流星，

有的不知去向，永远消逝了，

有的落在脚前，冰冷而僵硬。

另一种欢喜是喧腾的友谊，

茂盛的花不知道还有秋季，

社会的格局代替了血的沸腾，

生活的冷风把热情铸为实际。

另一种欢喜是迷人的理想，

它使我在荆棘之途走得够远，

为理想而痛苦并不可怕，

可怕的是看它终于成笑谈.

只有痛苦还在，它是日常生活

每天在惩罚自己过去的傲慢，

那绚烂的天空都受到谴责，

还有什么彩色留在这片荒原?

但惟有一棵智慧之树不凋，

我知道它以我的苦汁为营养，

它的碧绿是对我无情的嘲弄，

我诅咒它每一片叶的滋长。
