Cancer and humour may not appear to be obvious bedmates, but for some people it can provide a dose of light relief, or even make it easier for them to talk about what they’re going through. But it can be a fine line between what’s okay and what’s not - so how do you navigate it? Broadcaster and comedian Maria McErlane - Graham Norton’s radio agony aunt - talks to Sarah and Jeremy about how humour and mischief were a key element to her friendship with Nigella Lawson’s husband, John Diamond, when he was dying from throat cancer.
