Today I've got an important episode for you.  Show me the data is something I expect my consumers to demand of me.  I believe it is incredibly irresponsible to just copy what others are doing. 

There is a big difference between copying and being influenced.  Being influenced by to create, I'm great with in fact I had some of the greatest voice masters of our time influence my work and my God given gift.  But, we have lost trust as buyers because people are sharing information that they have no proof on, no proof it works, can't quantify where it comes from and more.

In today's episode, I'm breaking down why data is so important and how it influenced my recent research on trust and buying.

In today's episode I'm talking about the mistakes we make by doing what we've always been told will work, grabbing attention.  Our quest to hook, to grab, to make sure people hear and notice us is faulty.  In fact, this quest can cause us connection and authenticity very quickly.  But the key here is that trying to get my attention does not work.  Maybe it did at one point but it won't work now.

This is a big issue and a core driver for a lot of people.  Needing to be liked is in the people pleasing voice mask family it will cost you.

When you need to be liked, it significantly impacts your voice and how your sound is processed.  Needing to liked also creates a lot of angst around your delivery.

Today I'm talking about the sounds that your ideal client or team or family hears and processes in their subconscious.  They can't unhear the microscopic sounds, the subtle nuances of you trying to cover something up or avoid a topic.  They make decisions based on those sounds and this is why technique won't work.

In today's episode I talk about how we have to shift the entire foundation of where we are working from because the old school ways won't work anymore, not that I think they ever did. 

We need to approach voice from the perspective of a paradigm shift, a shift of where we are working from completely.  We need to unlayer, not add more on that will cover up our ability to connect, our ability to be authentic.

The ability to command the space is a good thing but often times we can use our power and authority to keep people out, as sort of a protection mechanism.  In this episode as I work with Cherry, that is what we focus on, strength vs. feeling.
