Welcome to the show!
Today, I'm talking about the absolute fact that your voice creates your reality.
Woah, how is that? Because we decide everything about you from your voice. We decide if you are a fraud, if you are lying, if you are a person of integrity, if you are full of bs and more!
With the decisions we make we take action...guess what your voice just created your reality. If you want to change the experiences you have in life, in relationships, in business, in revenue...you have to change your voice.
Make sure you check to see if I'm coming to a city near you for my one day live training sessions! https://www.captivatetheroom.com/retreat

Today, let's talk about the role of connection in relation to influence. When I say influence I mean influencing others. Connection is critical when it comes to influencing others to take the action you want them to take.
Connection happens in your voice or not.
Without even realizing it, you may be blocking people out, a razor's edge of a sound that tells your listener they aren't getting it.
This will cost you sales, this will cost you influence.

Welcome to the show.
This one may ruffle your feathers because in your mind right now, laughter is a good thing and it is. However, in today's episode, I want to introduce you to the razor edge thin sound that makes all the difference when it comes to connection and credibility.
When we feel any kind of insecurity, nuanced questioning of one's ability or trying to figure out what people are thinking, lack of worth, not knowing how our message is going to stick...anything, we can take on a voice habit of laughter. There are a number of reasons this can be problematic, a number of things that can cause this uncomfortable laugh and a number of repercussions from it.
Tune in and found out how certain laughter can cost you.

Welcome to the show!
In today's episode I'm talking about expectations, assumptions, the illusion that you communicated something that you did not. This is one of the biggest challenges I see everyone struggle with when it comes to effective communication, even leaders.
Leaders, experts, people moving fast far too often we think we clearly communicated the task but we didn't...no matter what you think you communicated. To excel in leadership, sales, and building a culture of collaboration we have to get really good at actually communicating, not just the illusion that we have done so.
I'll be talking more about this in my upcoming leadership and effective communication training on July 12th. I'd love for you to join me for this live training.

Welcome to the show!
I was asked a question the other day that I loved!
Tracy, what are the sounds that we seek in a leader's voice to follow them.
I had a little trouble narrowing it down to three because there are many but in today's episode I'm sharing 3 sound with you that will cause us to want to follow a leader.
Truthfully, we are all leaders so these sounds are valuable and important for everyone.
If you want to learn more about the voice of the leader, make sure you attend my upcoming training July 12th on Voice and Effective Communication. You can register at https://www.captivatetheroom.com/leadership
