It’s race week! Alyssa and Haley bring us a special Challenge Daytona PTO Championship race preview with professional triathlete and Ironman commentator Dede Griesbauer. This unique race will take place entirely within the Daytona International Speedway, and will be a 2km swim, 80km bike and 13km run. As the PTO’s 2020 Championship, the race will feature 47 of some of the top-ranked female pros in both short and long course racing, and will feature an historic prize purse of $1.15M USD. Dede gives us her expert insight on race strategy, breaks down the start list, and gives us her podium picks. She also discusses with Alyssa and Haley some of the big names that won’t be racing, and all of the complications that have come along with both putting on and travelling to a race during a global pandemic.
