Sit down and strap in because this week's episode is more exciting than a telenovela!
It all started when Yanet somehow joined the Courage Driven Latina program AFTER the link was supposed to have stopped working. We were literally closed but the universe wanted us to meet so what could we do? Fast forward to now when Erika flew out to Houston to meet with her private clients, met Yanet in person, and then heard the story of Yanet's incredible life. This story is so wild the two hopped on a mic and hit record so they wouldn't miss a second of it!
Yanet Borrego was born in Havana, Cuba and eventually settled down in the United States with her mother at the age of 12. Her goal was to secure a high-paying job and support her family, which she achieved after earning her chemical engineering degree. But after spending 8 years in corporate, Yanet discovered her purpose and dedicated herself to giving her clients the clarity they need to be their true selves. Through her coaching program, Yanet guides others to find their inner knowing, create their own reality, and walk in alignment with their true selves. Her mission is to empower others to feel fulfilled and empowered in all aspects of life.
In this episode, Yanet tells Erika the story of how she and her mother escaped communist Cuba, started a brand new life with a six-figure income at 23, and then left her six-figure job to start her own coaching business. Yanet went from growing up in a scarcity mindset to trusting the universe and living her life in abundance. Tune in to hear this incredible story of love, strength, and perseverance.

When was the last time you stopped for a moment and thought about how far you've come? That moment came for our host, Erika Cruz, while she was traveling to Houston, Texas to meet up with a few of her private clients. The last time Erika was in Houston, she was working for her previous tech company.
Traveling was one of the best parts about working at this tech company and she was afraid to leave tech because she wanted to keep traveling. If she left her company, all her traveling would come to an end. But here she is years later, in better accommodations than she had all those years ago, with more freedom and more flexibility than she ever would've had in tech.
In this week's episode, Erika shares her thoughts on letting go of fear and starting out on her own.

This week's theme is gratitude. As Courage Driven Latina turns three and we celebrate everything that Erika and the company have accomplished, we are remembering all the trials and tribulations it took to get to this point. Somewhere between feeling lost in the tech industry, earning no money from her food blog, and getting a cease and desist order that caused her to change the name of her business, were moments of courage and gratitude that led Erika and her team to where she is today.
In this episode, we are celebrating everything Courage Driven Latina has done for its alums and how the program is changing for the better. Listen for an exclusive offer just for you. And bring your tissues because this episode is a tearjerker!

As Latinas, we are often told that we have to follow through with our commitments. It's not bad advice, but it's also not helpful when we know that the thing that we committed to is no longer fulfilling us. We shouldn't stay in a draining position at work just because we've spent a lot of time there. That only serves to perpetuate the sunk cost fallacy and keep us feeling miserable when we could be using that time to become more courageous. That's why we're talking to Maideli Garcia, a Courage Driven Latina alum who has taught us the importance of courageous quitting and how to tap into the abundance mindset.
Maideli Garcia is a Latina money coach helping WOC save, invest, and earn more without sacrificing their JOY. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and the First-Gen to attend college. She got her BA in Elementary Education, but after experiencing burnout, Maideli pivoted out of teaching and into the tech space working remotely. She now has more energy and time to commit to her mission of helping WOC confidently take control of their finances.
This week on the Ch*ngona Revolution Podcast, Maideli shares how she's completely pivoted her life, both on her own time and through the Courage Driven Latina program. In the last few years, Maideli has gained the courage to leave her unfulfilling teaching job to find a remote position in the Tech Industry and head out on her own to create My Daily Dinero. Listen to this week's episode to find out how she was able to change her way of thinking and go from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset.

In this episode of the Chingona Revolution podcast, host Erika welcomes special guest Jasmin, who has been part of the Courage Driven Latina program. They discuss Jasmin's powerful story as the eldest daughter of immigrant parents and her journey of personal growth and transformation. The conversation focuses on the program's emphasis on life development rather than just business, addressing the common question of whether the program is relevant for those not interested in starting a business. Jasmin shares her experiences of feeling overwhelmed, struggling with guilt, and finding her identity through work. Through self-reflection and healing her inner child, she discovered the need for approval and recognition as the source of her workaholic tendencies. The episode offers valuable insights into personal growth and prioritizing self-care and family.
Guest Information to include in episode notes:
Jasmin is a first generation, Mexican-American who is on the path of healing her inner child and traumas from her adult life. She is a wife, mother, friend, and sister who enjoys having conversations about life and how to make the best out of every situation.

Hi Rebels! In today's episode, we're talking all about failure. Failure is the #1 thing that everyone I work with avoids. When we dig deep as to why they haven't started taking action on the thing they want to do, it usually comes back to the fear of failure. We don't want to fail, so instead we avoid doing the thing altogether.
I thought: We are so afraid to fail, so what would happen if we made it the goal to fail?
And that is the exact thought that led me to create the Failure Challenge during the last round of Courage Driven Latina.
Listen in to learn more about the Failure Challenge and how it helps you overcome the fear of failure so you can start taking action.

One of my favorite parts of the Courage Driven Latina program is the coaching calls. I love hosting these coaching calls because it allows me to help amazing women find solutions to their problems and it encourages them to continue in their Courage Project Journey. This week's call was especially productive, so if you are working on a courage project of your own, this episode is for you.
Guadalupe is known to many as Lupe. She's a first-generation Mexican and was raised in New York City. It wasn't until 2021 when she became a Women's Health Coach that she discovered her true purpose in life. It is because of the obstacles and experiences she's encountered in her own health journey that give her the courage to one day help other women find their own health journey.
Iris is a 1st gen Latina who loves cafecito, anything self-development, and traveling! She loves being a cheerleader and motivating others to be their best-evolving selves.
This week on the Ch*ngona Revolution podcast, listen in on a Courage Driven Latina Coaching Call with two incredible coaches in the making.

Lupe:
Guadalupe is known to many as Lupe. She's a first-generation Mexican, raised in New York City. She's the middle child of three so naturally, she's been viewed as the black sheep for doing things "differently" but also the first to not be afraid to pave the way differently than tradition. With a Bachelor's in Business Administration, a Master's in Fashion Marketing, and many years of corporate retail experience - It wasn't until 2021 when she became a Women's Health Coach, that she discovered her true purpose in life. It is because of the obstacles and experiences she's encountered in her own health journey that give her the courage to one day help other women find their own health journey.

I used to settle for a good life. A few years ago, everything about my life was really good on paper. I had a good job, a good fiancé, and a good career in tech to look forward to. But I wasn't happy. I had a good life, but, I wanted a great life. And having a great life meant leaving that all behind for what I really wanted to do. It was terrifying, but I did it, and now I have the life I've always dreamed of.
Many of my clients join the Courage Driven Latina Program because they are trying to listen to that little voice in their head that's telling them that they are only living a good life. They are grateful for that life, but they want a great life.
This week on the Ch*ngona Revolution Podcast, I'm going to show you how you can have a great life by letting you know what's holding you back.
