Thanks for joining me for another episode of One For The Road. This week I am joined by Clare Pooley.
Clare spent nearly 20 years in the heady world of advertising where she worked hard and played harder. Then, when her third child was born, she quit to be a full-time mum and she wholly embraced the concept of ‘me time’ and ‘wine o’clock.’ By 2015, she knew the game was up, and she quit drinking. Her therapy was writing a blog called Mummy was a Secret Drinker. That blog became a memoir, The Sober Diaries. Clare now writes fiction. Her bestselling debut novel - The Authenticity Project - is published in 29 languages, and her second novel is out in May.
