Mac Gardner, a Certified Financial Planner practitioner, has served in the financial services industry for more than 20 years.  His passion for financial literacy led him to publish his first book, “Motivate Your Money!” in 2013. As his family grew and his clients began to ask him for ways to teach their kids about managing money he decided to use elements from his first book to develop a financial literacy platform for young children. The Four Money Bears represent the four basic functions of money. When children gain exposure to money management skills at an early age they are likely to develop healthy financial planning habits as adults. Mac is a true believer in the power of stories. He wants every child to know the story of “The Four Money Bears” and the benefits of sound money management for generations to come.

Chon Nguyen is a successful entrepreneur based in Tampa, Florida. At a young age, he started an IT managed services business that is still growing today. His strong interest in the hospitality industry led him to develop a kitchen recipe solution software for multi-unit restaurants, and he also became a partner at The Proper House restaurant group. In 2017, he created Newgentek to provide end-to-end, turnkey technology solutions for multi-unit operators, hospitality and enterprise markets.

Patrick has fifteen years of experience in active real estate investment: purchasing distressed assets, renovating, and stabilizing for long term cashflow. His portfolio includes controlling ownership over 4000 units in the emerging markets across Texas and the South Eastern United States.

In addition to his real estate experience, Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of the Pacific, and a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Engineering from San Jose State University. He has spent 15 years in corporate America working for machine design firms to concept, design, and build one-of-a-kind custom manufacturing automation and robotic systems. In addition to working closely with the technical engineering teams, he travels globally working to negotiate contracts and secure multi-million dollar investment for automation programs.
