My guest today is Jessie Burton, the author of the Sunday Times bestselling novels The Miniaturist (which sold over a million copies in its first year of publication), The Muse, and The Confession, the children's book The Restless Girls and the modern feminist retelling of Medusa which is out now. Her novels have been translated into 38 languages, and she is a regular essay writer for newspapers and magazines and she is one of my favourite authors to follow on Instagram, for her writing advice, colourful interiors (and pictures of her cat of course)
We discuss her bringing alive Medusa for a new generation, her wonderful novels, her relationship with success and social media and so much more. I absolutely loved this conversation and hope you do too!

This episode is a replay of my episode with the brilliant Martha Beck from last year! She is a Harvard-trained sociologist (she has three degrees from Harvard!) and a world-renowned coach (most famously she's been Oprah's life coach) and New York Times bestselling author. She has published 9 non-fiction books, one novel, and more than 200 magazine articles having been a monthly contributor for O, The Oprah Magazine for 17 years. Since this episode aired she has released a new new bestselling book called The Way Of Integrity which I have become slightly obsessed with, an incredible book where she presents a four-stage process helping anyone find their integrity, a sense of purpose, emotional healing, and a life free of mental suffering. I got so much from the book and really recommend it. Hope you enjoy, listening to this replay xo

*FYI don't think there are spoilers, but if there are, it's in the second half of the interview.* My guest today is Meg Mason, author of several books including the recent instant Sunday Times bestseller Sorrow and Bliss. She began her career at the Financial Times and The Times of London and has been a regular columnist for GQ, ELLE and Vogue. I absolutely loved Sorrow & Bliss and reached out to Meg's team as soon as I finished reading it. The quote on the cover from Anne Patchett says: ‘'I was making a list of all the people I wanted to send it to, until I realised that I wanted to send it to everyone I know’ which is how I feel having gifted it to a few friends because I just want everyone to read it so I can talk more about it. It’s a Gen X coming of age, mental health love story that will rip you apart and piece you back together. This was a real treat getting to chat to Meg, I hope you enjoy this chat! xo

He is a columnist for the BBC and TED Global speaker, he has worked as a writer and consultant with some of the world's leading technology firms. His books exploring digital culture have been published in over two dozen languages. I first read Tom’s work when his book How To Thrive In the Digital Age published by The School Of Life back in 2012 and have followed his work ever since. His latest non-fiction book, Critical Thinking, is a bestselling textbook in its field; and he’s back with a new textbook called How to Think which I thoroughly enjoyed and we discuss in this episode.
