Yeah, I went to the University of Minnesota and I graduated in 1992. My major was International Relations...

with an economics focus and an international business focus, East Asian studies… I was all over the place! I studied lots of different things, but basically International Relations!

Then I came to South Korea and I went to graduate school for an MBA, but I didn’t finish the MBA… I had some visa problems! 

Anyway, I’ve been teaching English in South Korea for a long time. I first started teaching in 1987! Now it’s 2012, so my goodness, almost 25 years! 2011! It’s not 2012! Almost 25 years of teaching English and I really love it.

I don’t call myself a teacher, though. I like to call myself a coach. Because a lot of my students — they’re adults— their English basics are really good. They just need practice.

去面试前，先问问自己有没有办法流利回答以下问题：

1. Which school did you go to? 你上哪间学校

2. What was your major? 你的专业是什么？

3. What subjects did you study? 你学习什么科目？

4. What do you do? How long have you been doing it? 你工作是什么？做了多久？

5. Do you like what you are doing now? 你喜欢现在在做的事／工作吗？

These days, my hobbies are pretty much ‘reading’! — reading and hiking. Yeah. 

I moved to a new house recently, and I like to hike in the “mountain” nearby. It’s not really a mountain but it’s a nice hill. 

And, uh, let’s see… I love reading, I love history books — religious history, European history. (They are) very fascinating to me...

Uh.. other than that, … that’s pretty much it. I like sleeping!

Well, in the future, I wanna continue teaching English. I really love it. Uh, however, I really would love to be able to live some place cold! Yeah, my white skin is very sensitive to the sun, and I don’t want to get skin cancer! I had it once. I don’t want it anymore! So I would love to live in Ireland or Scotland or someplace really cold! Would they welcome me? That’s the problem. That’s my dream.

So if I moved to Ireland or Scotland then I would continue teaching…. well, here on YouTube! As long as you continue to come and watch.

去面试前，先问问自己有没有办法流利回答以下问题：

1. What are your hobbies? What do you like doing when you’re not working?

2. What are your future plans? Any hopes for the future?

Are there any planes to Boston on Sunday? 星期天有去波士顿的航班吗？

你可能会听到的回答：

Yes, there are two planes to Boston on Sunday. （有的，星期日有两班到波士顿的航班）

One in the morning and the other one is in the afternoon. （一班在早上，另一班在下午）

Which one would you like to book? （你要订哪一班？）

我要特别讲一下Paris是指法国的巴黎，而不搞错说成Bali哦！Bali指的是巴厘岛，差很多噢！虽然我只去过巴黎没去过巴厘岛，但我也知道一个是在欧洲另一个是在东南亚啦！Paris 是一个很美丽的城市，也是我和Mr. Wong的蜜月地，We had our honeymoon in Paris. It was a really romantic city. 真的很浪漫，我们当时是住在Paris的地标 Eiffle Tower（埃菲尔铁塔）附近，我们白天去野餐晚上也带着麦当劳和红酒在附近的草地坐着，真的很有情调，有机会你一定要去哦。

We have flights to Paris every hour. 我们每个小时都有去巴黎的航班。

昨天讲过你可以用there are flights to Paris every hour. 但是也可以用这样的句型说We have，特别是强调这个航空公司／飞机场拥有的航班，

去巴黎就直接用to Paris 就可以了，有很多同学喜欢中翻英，而翻出we have  flights go to Paris 这样的句子，这边我们已经有have当作句子里主要的动词，就不用特别再加上go了。
