As we observe National Estate Planning Week, people are beginning to realize that estate planning is not just for the wealthy. Anyone who owns an asset that they want to leave to another needs a Will. But, everyone needs a Health Care Power of Attorney, Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney. Don't wait until you find yourself in a medical emergency and no one is able to make decisions for you. Remember just because you are married and/or living with the person does not entitle you to any medical records or to make medical decisions. Often times even being the parent of a grown child gives you no rights.
Blair Cato's own Marshall Minton joins me today to discuss what you need to know about estate planning.
Plus, in my segment "SAY WHAT" I read the funniest Will ever recorded in Richland County and of course Gary's Good News Only.
