  1. Number 1: The One Deficiency Behind Dry Eyes, Dry Mouth, and Bumpy Arms

Your dry skin, dry eyes, and dry mouth could all be caused by one vitamin deficiency. Discover the key nutrient that not only supports eye health but could also be key to getting rid of rough, bumpy skin. 👉 Download Dr. Berg's Free Daily Health Routine: https://drbrg.co/45qtO07 Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 What causes dry mouth, dry eyes, and dry skin? 0:25 Vitamin A deficiency 0:54 Vitamin A and eye health 1:27 Vitamin A and skin health 1:51 Beta-carotene vs. vitamin A 2:10 Retinol 2:34 Vitamin A foods 3:19 Bile deficiency and vitamin A absorption 4:19 Low hydrochloric acid and bile deficiency 5:38 Zinc deficiency and vitamin A deficiency symptoms 6:13 Zinc foods Vitamin A is essential for healthy skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. It helps maintain the protective barriers throughout your body, including the mucus layer of the eye and the lipid layer that protects your skin. Vitamin A deficiency can lead to dry, rough skin and changes in the eyes. You may even develop rough, bumpy skin or corns on your feet. Many people mistake beta-carotene for vitamin A, but these two compounds are not the same. Retinol is the active form of vitamin A, while beta-carotene is the precursor, and most of it does not convert into the active form. You need adequate bile and gallbladder function for vitamin A to work. Bile helps extract fat-soluble vitamins from the food you eat. If you've had your gallbladder removed, or have a bile deficiency or a fatty liver, it could be the reason you’re deficient in vitamin A. Focus on increasing foods high in vitamin A rather than taking a supplement if you’re deficient. If you catch early-stage cataracts, there could be an opportunity for natural reversal. Cataracts occur in the lens of the eye. The lens has no blood supply and relies on glucose for energy. Too much sugar in the body can bind with proteins in the lens and damage them through a process known as glycation. Chronic high blood sugar can lead to the development of advanced glycation end products (AGEs). This can cause the lens to become opaque, making it difficult to see. This process is what we know as a cataract. Cataracts can even develop before diabetes, when insulin is high and insulin resistance is already present. To reverse cataracts naturally, you must lower insulin. Avoid sugar and fructose, stop snacking, and consider a low-carb or ketogenic diet. Phytonutrients from foods like cruciferous vegetables can also support eye health. NAC eye drops may also be beneficial for cataract reversal and prevention. 3. Number 3: Why Intermittent Fasting Is Different for Women (Most Get It Wrong)

Intermittent fasting for women is often considered dangerous or damaging to hormones, but what if the opposite is true? When done correctly, intermittent fasting can be one of the most powerful ways women can support their hormones. 👉 Download Dr. Berg’s Free Daily Health Routine: https://drbrg.co/45qtO07 Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Intermittent fasting for women 0:19 Intermittent fasting, hormones, and research 1:15 Fasting and female hormones 2:07 How to do intermittent fasting for women 2:53 Intermittent fasting benefits explained 3:39 Intermittent fasting and the menstrual cycle 6:31 Intermittent fasting PCOS 7:00 Fasting for fertility 7:59 Fasting and menopause 10:06 Intermittent fasting thyroid health 10:46 Fasting and stress 11:43 Intermittent fasting tips Discover how prolonged fasting can transform your health in this article: https://drbrg.co/4x78oQS Most women think intermittent fasting is dangerous or that it will wreck their hormones, but much of this concern is based on a faulty animal study. For women dealing with hormonal problems like PCOS, a sluggish thyroid, menopausal weight gain, or irregular periods, intermittent fasting can be especially beneficial. The caveat is that you have to gear your intermittent fasting plan to your specific biology. The protocol for a woman with PCOS will look different from the protocol for a woman going through menopause. To start intermittent fasting, you need a fasting window of 14 hours or greater. Many of the benefits of fasting are related to lowering insulin, which allows your body to tap into its fat reserves for fuel. When insulin is too high, androgens can become elevated and contribute to estrogen dominance and low progesterone. This can affect your mood and contribute to symptoms like facial hair and cystic acne. By lowering insulin, intermittent fasting can support hormone balance, fertility, and thyroid health and function and help reduce symptoms associated with menopause. If you’re wondering whether you’re following the right intermittent fasting pattern, go by how you feel. Diet, exercise, and supplements won’t work as well if your sleep quality is poor. Sleep is essential for detoxifying the brain, making healthy sleep a critical part of your overall health. Diet also plays an important role in sleep quality. Snacking late at night can interfere with healthy sleep. Try eating earlier and practicing intermittent fasting and a low-carb diet. Kefir and L. reuteri yogurt are two foods that can help support better sleep. Alcohol may seem to help you fall asleep, but it can interfere with sleep quality and inhibit deep sleep. Caffeine can also keep you awake, so watch out for hidden sources of caffeine. Stretching before bed and focusing on hobbies that reduce stress during the day can also help you relax and sleep better. Adequate sodium and potassium, along with magnesium glycinate before bed, can support better sleep. Vitamin D and white noise are also beneficial. If you’re just starting keto and having trouble sleeping through the night, you may notice improvements within 1 to 2 weeks as your body adjusts to burning fat. Stop snacking before bed! One of the easiest ways to do this is to stop buying snack foods. Focus on choline-rich and sulfur-rich foods to support liver health and help fuel your brain throughout the night. 5. Number 5: How to Fix Sleep Apnea without CPAP (3 Exercises)

Did you know you can fix sleep apnea without CPAP? Discover 3 sleep apnea exercises that can help stop sleep apnea naturally and even help with snoring for better sleep and better health. 👉 Download Dr. Berg’s Free Daily Health Routine: https://drbrg.co/45qtO07 0:00 How to fix sleep apnea without CPAP 0:25 Sleep apnea explained 0:43 Sleep apnea treatment 2:24 Nasal breathing for better sleep 3:33 Tongue exercises for sleep apnea 4:42 Sleep apnea exercise #2 6:00 Sleep apnea exercise #3 6:49 Better sleep tips Over a billion people have sleep apnea, and the majority don’t know that simple airway exercises could offer a potential solution. Sleep apnea involves a narrow airway with muscles that are too relaxed and weak. The airway can collapse, cutting off your oxygen and interfering with your sleep. Most people with sleep apnea rely on a CPAP machine for sleep apnea treatment. People are also often told to lose weight to stop sleep apnea, but that only works in about a third of cases. Do these sleep apnea exercises once a day for 7 minutes. Follow along for a simple demonstration of the following sleep apnea exercises: 1. Tongue root press — Hold pressure for 5 seconds, relax for 2 seconds, and repeat 15 times. 2. Palate lift — Hold the lift at the top for 3 seconds, release, and repeat for 20 reps. 3. Cheek suction and hold — Hold a fish face for 5 seconds, followed by a puff face. Complete 5 cycles. Dr. Eric Berg D.C.
