In this episode of the Align podcast, Dr. Mike Israetel joins us for a discussion on meditation, spirituality, and ways to build mental strength. We explore the realm of dreams, their importance, and how they shape our understanding of reality. We also dig deeper into this from a neuroscience perspective, as Mike explains some of the brain’s more complex algorithms and how we can harness them. We round off with a conversation about telepathy, and the science behind cell phones.
Dr. Mike Israetel holds a PhD in Sport Physiology, and is currently the head science consultant for Renaissance Periodization.
Mike was formerly a professor of Exercise and Sport Science in the School of Public Health at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he taught several courses, including Nutrition for Public Health, Advanced Sports Nutrition and Exercise, and Nutrition and Behavior.
