This episode originally aired in February, 2023.  At the time, Veozah (the non-hormonal treatment for moderate to severe hot flashes) was still under consideration for FDA approval but as of May, it has been approved.  

We had an important conversation with Dr. Nanette Santoro,  Ob/Gyn, professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and associated with Astellas, the pharmeutical brand that launched Veozah.  

She answer our questions on Veozah's use and effectiveness as well as  concerns.
