Wherever we put all of our energy into is literally deciding if we are getting energy or being drained of it. When we figure out our top priorities based off of our values and then put all of our resources into those then we refuel ourselves. When we are putting all of our energy into priorities that are not our top priorities then we are drained of willpower, motivation, and energy. If we want to feel more energized and alive and fulfilled and happy with our lives then we will invest all forms of energy into the right areas.
