No life circumstance is as easy as it looks from the outside. But it’s important to remember that you always always ALWAYS have a choice to leave a hard marriage or to stay in a hard marriage. Just know this: whether you stay or whether you go you will still have the same healing work to do either way. Sometimes it’s easier to heal leaving a marriage and sometimes it’s easier to heal by staying. And sometimes easy isn’t the answer. There is no wrong way. Divorce is not THE problem. Divorce is an accumulation of unhealthy relationship behaviors. Some people think that the longevity of a relationship means its successful. This isnt true.
