I had a question come in from one of my clients this week:
"My husband is frustrated because he things I should be further along healing from his affair. Now I am questioning myself. Am I doing something wrong?"
Healing from betrayal, trauma takes time. And it’s not the same timeline for everyone. You are unique, and your healing journey is also unique.
This can be extremely frustrating for the betrayer if they feel you are not progressing as quickly as they would like.
This comes from a lack of understanding of where you are in your healing journey, how the betrayal has affected you, and what you are actually healing from.
In today’s podcast, I am answering this question in detail.
I pray this will open up conversations and help both the betrayed and the betrayer.
