On the night of August 20, 2020, Geraldine’s life was forever changed when her car plunged into Lough Foyle in County Donegal, taking the lives of her husband John, her son Tomás, and her daughter Amelia. Geraldine was the sole survivor.

Since that heartbreaking night, Geraldine has devoted herself to honouring her family’s memory through the Mullan Hope Centre in Moville, a place where families can come and have happy times together.
