Some lessons stay with you long after the teacher is gone.
This year would have been Louise Hay's 100th birthday, and as I reflect on the years I spent working alongside her, I find myself returning to three lessons that continue to shape my life. These aren't teachings I learned from a book. They're truths I witnessed in action, lessons that continue to guide me through every season of growth, change, and reinvention.
Louise taught me that self-love isn't something we earn after we've healed, achieved, or fixed ourselves. Self-love is the foundation we build upon. She reminded me that no one is coming to save us because the power to change has always been within us. And she embodied the truth that it's never too late to become who you truly are, no matter your age or stage of life.
As we celebrate her legacy, I'm sharing these lessons not as ideas to admire, but as invitations to practice. Because the greatest gift Louise gave wasn't information. It was the reminder that we already have everything we need to begin.
What we explore:
If you'd like to celebrate Louise Hay's 100th birthday with us in person, you'll find all the details, including tickets and the full lineup, here at the official event page.
I would truly love to see you there, in the room.
