Abi used to hate running. In fact, she'd go as far as say loathe. When she was a kid, she hid behind trees to get out of it. Fast-forward 17 years, she moved to Fernie BC to ski and discovered a whole lot more – and ironically, became hooked on running. She now says her family back home are in shock, and she is pretty sure her mother still thinks she's in some sort of endurance cult. Once she discovered trail races, she came in 1st place in her first 6 races.
