Lizzy grew up in a great community with a supportive family, but had a hard time fitting in during school. She struggled with severe anorexia and negative relationships that continued into college. She found peace walking in the forest near her school. Those walks turned into runs, and shortly after, she ran San Diego 100 at just 22 yrs old. "That race was so much more than getting a buckle.
