In this episode, I am joined by Poddy legend, Sophie Wilson. OGβs will remember Sophie from our last episode where we discussed fat loss, but today is all about mindset! Mindset is a huge part of our health and fitness journey, and really the key to smashing our goals. We dive into the importance of being aware of blaming external factors for interfering with our progress and how your success comes from doing and not always achieving. Yes of course we celebrate our achievements but itβs crucial to look at the positive habits you have as evidence to remind you that youβre a f*cking doer!Β

Iβve never talked about my mission and why I love what I do, and side note ;) (IFYKY), I also break down what flexible dieting should be like in my opinion, and how you can start shifting into a relaxed approach to nutrition.Β

This episode is following on from last week, and itβs all about getting back to the basics and really checking your lift techniques. Ruby breaks down how she likes to create training blocks to achieve not only PB heavy lifts but also to ensure adaptation is still happening in your training program. Going back to the basics and focusing on technique can be seen as regression but this is actually refinement. Listen in to hear how Ruby incorporates the most common lifts like deadlifts, squats and shoulder press, in her programs to ensure a perfect lift.Β

This episode is for my gym gals! 2023 is coming to an end π³, so this is typically the time we start to think about our nutrition and training goals for 2024. Today Iβm chatting about what we can look at within our nutrition and training program to set up phases throughout the year, to help us achieve our goals. Christmas time can cause a spiral to occur in the new year, so getting prepped now will only help us enter the new year feeling confident and ready to smash 2024 like a boss!
