In this episode, I give you tips and ideas to maximize your virtual learning experience. Although I focus on conferences, this episode is for all direct sellers because most of your learning throughout the year is a virtual experience through Zoom calls, Facebook lives, and videos.

I outline the two things that were essential to my virtual learning.

Learning with a group of people was the first one, and it held me accountable for coming to the events live or watching the replays in a timely manner. Plus, I got a better understanding of the content that was presented because I could ask my group questions and get different perspectives.

I give you suggestions for how to form a group and how to structure it.

The second thing that helped me was setting up my schedule and environment to minimize distractions and be able to consume the content.

I think every direct seller who wants to be successful should go to conference. I think it’s so important that I put together a whole series about it so you can maximize your investment.

In this episode, I dispel five myths about conference:

Myth #1 - Conference is a revenue stream for your company.
Myth #2 - Attending virtually is just as good as attending in person.
Myth #3 - You have to have a certain amount of experience or success to attend.
Myth #4 - Conference is just a bunch of rah-rah.
Myth #5 - Conference is expensive.

And then, I go through the benefits of attending:

Benefit #1 - You’ll get the big picture of this industry and what’s possible for you.
Benefit #2 - You’ll build connections and relationships.

Conference is for every direct seller. There’s something for everyone, from brand-new consultants to top leaders.

No one is too new or too experienced to go.

I decided to do a bonus episode for this series to prepare you for what will happen in the next couple of months.

If you’ve been doing the practices, you’re probably already starting to see some results, and that new growth is exciting and will keep you motivated to keep going.

But as your mindset continues to mature, the changes won’t be as noticeable. Typically, people become less deliberate about their practices, and then their mindset shifts back toward lack.

I share three things that have helped me stay consistent with my practices (I haven’t missed a day of saying my mantras in over a year!)

The other thing I want you to know is that as your mindset shifts towards abundance, your negative thoughts and other people’s lack mindset will stand out.

Noticing your negative thoughts means you’re making progress, and in this episode, I tell you what I do to avoid going into a negative spiral.

Noticing other people’s lack mindset also means you’re making progress, but you won’t serve them or yourself if you point it out to them.

I share things you can do to protect yourself from negativity and teach others about abundance.

This episode is all about how feelings impact your success. 

You’ll learn that your feelings are energy, which means they have vibrations. Good feelings have high-vibe energy, and negative feelings have low-vibe energy.

Since like attracts like, it’s important for you to have high-vibe energy as much as possible.

The better you feel, the better you’ll feel.

I give you three practices in this episode so you can raise your vibration and attract the customers, hosts, and potential team members you want.

The first one is to have fun because successful people are happy. The happy feelings came first. They aren't happy because they're successful; they're successful because they're happy.

The second practice is daily appreciation. Appreciation is the highest-vibe feeling you can have.

The third practice is to celebrate everything. Celebrating feels good, and when you do it, your reticular activating system will continue to look for more reasons to celebrate.

I wrap up this series by reminding you that abundance is a practice, and success is unlimited.

In this episode, I explain how to create beliefs that serve you and how to stop thoughts that don't so that you can achieve the results you want in your direct sales business.

Shifting your thoughts even just a little bit changes your results.

When you control your thoughts, you can control your results.

Because your brain thinks your thoughts are facts, and your reticular activating system is always looking for evidence that supports them, it's important for you to stop negative thoughts as quickly as possible.

The first practice helps you stop your negative thoughts before they become beliefs. 

The second practice is using mantras, and I cover:

• The dos and don’ts of mantras.
• An easy way to start a habit of mantras.
• The language to use (and avoid) when you create your mantra.

Plus, I give you some mantras to get you started.
